2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இலங்கையின் பொருளாதாரம் 5% வளர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளதாக தொகை மதிப்பு மற்றும் புள்ளிவிபரவியல் திணைக்களம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

அத்துடன் 4வது காலாண்டில் ( 2024 ஒக்டாபர், நவம்பர், டிசம்பர்) மொத்த உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தியின் வளர்ச்சி 5.4% என மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
